Adjusted hockey impact, not a points leaderboard
FHI starts with exact-5v5 two-sided ridge RAPM built on FPxG, controlling teammates and opponents. FHOI adds reliability-aware individual FPxG creation and heavily shrunk finishing. FHDI uses adjusted FPxG suppression with additional reliability shrinkage. FHI combines the two, while FHV converts the rate into cumulative value.
Full Press Hockey Index
Overall position-relative player impact. Forwards and defensemen are normalized separately.
Offensive Index
Adjusted on-ice offense plus residual individual FPxG creation and heavily regressed finishing.
Defensive Index
Adjusted FPxG suppression with stronger reliability treatment because defensive impact is noisier.
Full Press Hockey Value
Cumulative expected-goal value. Rate quality matters, but playing time matters too.
Public qualification
Headline season rankings use 500 exact-5v5 minutes. Lower-sample players remain searchable and receive a Small Sample badge.
FPxG foundation
Every shot is valued by FPxG v1.0 without using shooter, goalie or team identity.
Context matters
FHI describes observed 2025-26 impact. It is not a projection of future performance.
