Updating you on all current NBA trade deadline deals. This article will be updated as the day passes, until the 12 PST o’clock deadline.

Cleveland Cavaliers Receive: Jordan Clarkson, Larry Nance Jr.

Lakers Receive: Isaiah Thomas, Channing Frye, Cavaliers 2018 first round pick

The Cavaliers have traded Isaiah Thomas to the Los Angeles Lakers, after reports saying that he did not wish to be traded. The Lakers free up cap space getting rid of Clarkson and Nance, and gain a former all star guard, who they will likely not resign. All of this is ultimately for the Lakers to free up cap to sign multiple superstars in free agency.

The Cavaliers are completely blowing up their roster in a desperate attempt to rebound this season. Clarkson and Nance are both solid role players who will help Cleveland.

Cleveland Cavaliers Receive: George Hill, Rodney Hood

Utah Jazz Receive: Derrick Rose, Jae Crowder

Sacramento Kings Receive: Iman Shumpert, Joe Johnson

The Cavaliers add two more effective wing players here in Hill and Hood. George Hill is an elite three point shooter, and a solid defender. Hood is a young guard who can slot right in and provide around 17 points a night.

The Jazz will release Derrick Rose to let him sign with a championship contender. Minnesota is interested. Jae Crowder looks to return to his Boston form as one of the NBA’s best role players.

Sacramento takes Joe Johnson’s contract, along with Shumpert, who can be a solid wing defender.

Cleveland Cavaliers Receive: Heavily Protected 2018 second round pick

Miami Heat Receive: Dwayne Wade

Cleveland sends Dwayne Wade back to Miami after his disappointing stint with the team.  Wade will provide good veteran leadership to his long time team, and Cleveland continues to blow their roster up.

Toronto Raptors Receive: Malachi Richardson

Sacramento Kings Receive: Bruno Caboclo

The Raptors send forward Bruno Caboclo for guard Malachi Richardson to bolster their already impressive bench.

Chicago Bulls Receive: Willie Reed

Detroit Pistons Receive: Jameer Nelson

The Pistons trade for Nelson to secure their backup point guard spot, and give up Reed, who they acquired in the Blake Griffin deal. They also swapped 2022 second round picks.

Miami Heat Receive: Luke Babbitt

Atlanta Hawks Receive: Okaro White

Luke Babbitt returns to Miami after a short time in Atlanta. They send White, a solid bench swingman.

Denver Nuggets Receive: Devin Harris, New York future second round pick

New York Knicks Receive: Emmanuel Mudiay

Dallas Mavericks Receive: Doug McDermott

In this three team deal, the Denver Nuggets, as rumored, deal Emmanuel Mudiay to the New York Knicks. They receive Devin Harris, a solid veteran guard who provides leadership to such a young locker room. Dallas picks up Dougie McBuckets, who will be a solid rotational scorer. The Knicks take a chance on a young guard who could grow into a very solid player.

Portland Trailblazers Receive: Rights to Milocan Rakovic

Chicago Bulls Receive: Noah Vonleh, Cash

The Bulls trade away the rights to Rakovic, a Serbian player, who plays in the Swiss basketball league. The Bulls receive forward Noah Vonleh and cash, which puts Portland under the luxury tax.

New Orleans Pelicans Receive: Rashad Vaughn

Brooklyn Nets Receive: Dante Cunningham

The Nets receive Dante Cunningham from the Pelicans, a solid backup wing who shoots the three well, and defends well. The Nets just acquired Vaughn from the Bucks, in the Tyler Zeller deal, and flip him right away.

Atlanta Hawks Receive: Sheldon Mac

Washington Wizards Receive: Unknown
