This Morning, The Colts signed a one year, $5M deal with wide receiver Ryan Grant.

https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.jsGrant, 27, has played all four years of his career with the Washington Redskins. The 6’0″, 199-pound receiver is a very quick player with good hands. Last season, Grant caught 45 passes for 573 yards and four touchdowns, having his career-best season. Right now, he projects as the Colts’ number two wide receiver, but they will likely as a few more at some point this offseason. Right now the Colts’ wide receiver corps looks like this: T.Y. Hilton, Ryan Grant, and Chester Rogers, excluding practice squad players.

Grant previously signed a four year, $29M deal with $14.5M guaranteed. After failing his physical with Baltimore due to an ankle issue, his value plummetted, even though he passed his physical with the Colts. Grant is the Colts’ third free agent signing out of four: Denico Autry, Eric Ebron, Grant, and Matt Slauson.
