Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku was added to the injury report on Saturday after an accident at home. Njoku suffered burns to his face, hand, and arm after attempting to light a fire pit, according to reports. Njoku would post the following Saturday afternoon.

Even with the burns, Njoku will attempt to play Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens. The dynamic pass catcher was seen entering Cleveland Browns Stadium with a mask on his face.

The issue for Njoku will be finding a way to keep any type of bandage on his face during the game. Putting on and subsequently removing his helmet will make it difficult for anything to stay in place.
Should Njoku be able to take the field and participate in Sunday’s contest, it would go a long way for a Browns offense that has experienced difficulties getting on track. Being without their best player (Nick Chubb) already puts the Browns up against it. Removing more players from the equation will only make it more difficult for the offense to get going.
Cleveland is already facing the possibility of Deshaun Watson not being able to play due to a shoulder injury. Should Dorian Thompson-Robinson start in his spot and be without Njoku, The Browns would have a razor-thin margin for error.
