Peter King of SI.com had an intriguing idea recently when talking about a possible Colts-Bills trade this Thursday. King thinks the Colts would value multiple day-two picks instead of just one extra day one pick, so the gaining picks 12, 53, 56, and 96 instead of only 12 and 22.

The draft is this week, all that is waiting is finally over this Thursday! The world doesn’t need more mock drafts at this point, but we all love them, so here is my take on the first two days of the NFL draft. Since I also write for FPC Colts, I included all the picks for the Colts in the draft trades included.

This is where great general managers can really make an impact, Guys like JuJu Smith-Schuster and Quincy Wilson are available around this time, look for the Colts to possibly make a leap of faith with some low-floor, high-upside players around this pick.

Welcome to the latest FPC Colts mock draft. In this edition, the Colts trade down with the arch-rival New England Patriots. The Patriots move up here to grab a franchise quarterback. Tom Brady can't play forever, so grabbing his successor makes sense. The Patriots would have to give up an exorbitant amount to move up that many spots, akin to the RGIII trade. Chris Ballard should be more than willing to trade down for three firsts and a second.

Colts Draft Profile: Darius Leonard

Leonard is a quick twitch athlete with a lanky frame. Long arms and big hands, he uses his frame and athleticism to get around blocks and catch up to ballcarriers. He is great in pursuit and usually takes good angles to the ballcarrier.

Donte Jackson is a track star with burner speed. He has the speed and athleticism to keep up with any receiver in the NFL in one on one coverage and does not need help over the top. His movement in space is incredibly fluid and he turns his hips to the ball effortlessly.
