Stats
Pros
Ball Skills
Amik Robertson might have the best ball skills of any DB in the draft. That’s saying a lot but this kid finds the ball and can pluck it like any WR. His natural instincts at high pointing and attacking the ball are rare. Between pass breakups and interceptions, no cornerback can say they had better production in college.
Football IQ/Mentality
This guy gets the game and how to cover wideouts. His IQ is off the charts and he plays with his hair on fire. Football is a passion to him and he leaves it all on the field. Roberson plays with a swagger needed at the corner position and does not shy away from the competition.
Athleticism
Roberson did not run or do drills at the combine. However, the game tape does not lie and he can hang with athletic receivers. Roberson might not be the most explosive athlete but he is good enough to play at the next level.
Tackling/Technique
Willing and able tackler. Roberson does not shy away from contact and has no problem sticking his nose in against running backs and bigger receivers. He takes good angles to the ball carrier and put them on the ground. His technique could use some work but the tools are there. Sometimes, Roberson leans on his physical tools and bully style of play over technique. Not many false steps in his game.

Cons
Size
Roberson is a smaller corner and a height the Packers have stayed away from in the past. While he is smaller, he does play bigger then is measurables and it does not seem to hinder him on the field. Some concern playing against bigger stronger wide receivers and in jump ball situations.
Competition
Robertson played in a small conference with not much pro-level talent. He did hold his own when playing against higher competition (LSU and Texas).
Why Robertson for the Packers?
Amik Robertson could come in and compete for a significant role in the Green Bay secondary. This kid plays with a chip on his shoulder and a lot of passion. Roberson has that dog in him and models his game after Tyrann Mathieu. A willing tackler from the slot that will help this team both in the run game and shutting down the smaller gadget type players. He is a turnover machine and gets his hands on a ton of footballs. With Kevin King in a contract year and Tramon Williams currently a free agent, Robertson could be that mid to late-round playmaker to add to the roster.
