The Denver Broncos will be without Jonah Coleman against the Los Angeles Rams, but J.K. Dobbins and RJ Harvey are available for Sunday Night Football.

Denver’s final Week 3 injury report lists Coleman as out with an ankle injury. Dobbins and Harvey finished without game designations, while wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. remains questionable.

Broncos Injury Report: Final Week 3 Statuses

Player Injury Friday practice Status vs. Rams
Jonah Coleman Ankle Did not participate Out
J.K. Dobbins Hip Full No designation
RJ Harvey Hamstring Full No designation
Marvin Mims Jr. Foot Limited Questionable

RJ Harvey Set to Return After Missing Week 2

Harvey was inactive for Denver’s Week 2 win after entering that game as questionable. His return gives the Broncos another backfield option as Coleman sits.

Both Harvey and Dobbins progressed from limited participation Wednesday to full sessions Thursday and Friday. Coleman did not participate in any of the three practices.

For Denver, the practical benefit is flexibility. Having two established options available allows the offense to distribute responsibilities rather than build its backfield plan around a single player returning from an injury issue.

What Coleman’s Absence Means for the Backfield

Coleman’s absence removes one option from the rotation, but the final injury report does not establish how Denver will divide carries, passing-down work or snaps near the goal line.

Dobbins and Harvey could both benefit from the available opportunities. How much either gains will depend on the game plan and how the offense performs against Los Angeles. Availability alone should not be mistaken for a guarantee of a featured role.

That distinction matters for fantasy managers. Coleman belongs out of starting lineups, while Dobbins and Harvey should be evaluated against the alternatives on each roster. There is no confirmed workload in Friday’s report that makes either an automatic start regardless of format.

Marvin Mims Jr. Remains Questionable

Mims was limited throughout the week with a foot injury. His designation leaves Denver with an unresolved decision at receiver heading into the weekend.

Managers considering Mims should account for the Sunday night kickoff. Waiting for his final availability can reduce the number of eligible replacements, especially if the alternatives on the bench play earlier in the day.

Rams Also Have Injury Questions

Los Angeles lists Puka Nacua and Kamren Kinchens as doubtful, while Colby Parkinson is questionable. Jordan Whittington has no game designation.

Nacua’s potential absence would change the receiving options Denver prepares to face, but doubtful is not the same as ruled out. Both teams still have availability decisions to settle before kickoff.

The Broncos host the Rams on Sunday, September 27. Denver’s clearest injury development entering the matchup is the combination of two available running backs and one confirmed absence, leaving the focus on how the offense uses Dobbins and Harvey.
