The Indianapolis Colts are not messing around anymore. As Full Press NFL and Full Press Coverage have documented, Jonathan Taylor and Josh Downs are two names being swirled around the rumour mill heading into the November 10th trade deadline. However, while players are on the move, the question remains: will head coach Shane Steichen keep his job?
Myself and @Ted_X talked about the fire sale that has started in Indy. Who else is on the move. #ForTheShoe @bodkins_nick

We have seen CEO Carlie Irsay-Gordon on the sidelines taking notes and evaluating everyone to make the Indianapolis Colts a franchise fans can be proud of again. She already fired GM Chris Ballard. The Colts have traded Quenton Nelson and DeForest Buckner. However, after an embarrassing 42-7 loss, everything is on the table, including head coach and quarterback Daniel Jones.
NFL Rumors: Will the Indianapolis Colts Trade Jonathan Taylor?
On the recent episode of the Night Cap Recap, as seen on the Wire App on Full Press Coverage, Jim Biringer and Teddy Repantis discuss the Indianapolis Colts head-coaching situation: could they fire Shane Steichen and try to get out of Daniel Jones‘s contract?
Full Press Coverage Transcriptions
Biringer: “I think he’ll get traded, and I think they’re going to try to find a way to get out of Daniel Jones’ contract. I also think they’re gonna fire the head coach.
Repantis: “The coach will be gone too. But yeah, out of the Danny Jones contract, this is like we’re starting from the ground up.”
Biringer: “Does (Shane) Steichen keep his job?”
Repantis: “I don’t know. I think it’s gonna do it. I think it’s just gonna be that we’re getting rid of everybody. We’re gonna start fresh from scratch. Find a coach who wants to, you know, build a contender and find a quarterback. That’s what I think.”
It will be interesting to see what the Indianapolis Colts do as they continue to underperform; the wheels came off after their hot start last season. While we are not calling for anyone’s job, when you understand what Carlie Irsay-Gordon wants to do, you begin to wonder about the coach and the staff.
