After a couple weeks of speculation about the Denver Broncos being interested in Washington Redskins safety Su’a Cravens, a deal has been done to send the “wannabe retired” safety to the Denver Broncos.
Deal:
Denver is swapping fourth- and fifth-round picks, and giving another 5th-round pick with Washington in exchange for safety Su’a Cravens, per source. Cravens is a Bronco.

More info:
Broncos acquire SS Su’a Cravens from WAS in exchange for 5th-rd pick (No. 163). Broncos also swap 4th-rd picks, going from 109 to WAS’s 113; and 5th-rd picks, from 142 to 149. Also a conditional pick. WAS would get 6th-rd pick in 2020 if Cravens plays in playoff game. #9sports

Before the start of the 2017 season, Cravens told the Redskins he planned on retiring. However the organization talked Cravens out of that but he did not play an entire snap during the 2017 campaign.

It seems as if Cravens is happy about where he is headed. A new home. Maybe there he won’t go AWOL.
Redskins get a early fourth rounder, two fifth rounders and 2020 conditional sixth rounder. Denver will get Cravens, mid-fourth rounder and a mid-fifth rounder.
Will Compton was not happy when he heard the news of Cravens potentially wanting to retire and asked him what drives him. It is obvious Compton has the drive to succeed, Cravens, well has the drive to quit on a team who took him in the NFL Draft.

Guess we will see how Cravens and the Broncos gel.
