Round 2, pick #30 – Sam Hubbard, Defensive End. Ohio State
Yet another player who has been projected as a potential first-round talent. With Brian Robison heading into potentially his final season, it’s imperative to find another pass rusher to add to the mix.
I’m pretty high on Tashawn Bower’s potential to become a regular rotation guy down the line, but to add Hubbard to the mix gives the Vikings the chance to match the Philadelphia Eagles’ rotation, a strength that was key to their Super Bowl run this past season.
