As the third round winds down, I’m not seeing much at positions of need or talents that I can see being a great fit for the Vikings. Fortunately, the Denver Broncos came calling with a trade offer:
Broncos trade Round 4, pick #13 and Future Round 3 pick for Vikings Round 3, pick #30.
With no one of interest that I feel I can’t bypass or that I will miss on if I accept, I take the trade. Once again, the trade pays off.
As I’ve zoned in on a potential draft target, the Seattle Seahawks make another trade offer: their fourth and fifth round selections for my current pick. Being that my intended target is still a little ways down, I go ahead and pull the trigger.
Seahawks trade Round 4, pick #20 and Round 5, pick #19 for Vikings Round 4, #13.
